On September 25, the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Thanh Hoa province’s Yen Thanh district in collaboration with Thieu Do company and sponsors organized a charitable program for presenting gifts to poor pupils in two districts of Ky Son and Anh Son.
The charitable event presented 300 gift sets containing daily necessaries, new clothes and notebooks (each set worth VND 500,000) to poor pupils at Na Ngoi elementary school (Ky Son district) and Binh Son elementary school (Anh Son district ).
Earlier, on September 24, Nguyen Quang Buddhist charity group, doctors and physicians from Thua Thien Hue province and Hai Duc traditional medicine (Tue Tinh clinic) also organized health-checks and free distribution of medicines to poor people in Quang Tri province’s Huong Hoa district.
The medical charity program worth VND 70 million in total provided medical supports to over 300 poor people in the locality.

Nguyen Quang Buddhist charity group and Nghe An Cancer Hospital also plan to provide free health checks and medicines for about 600 local people in Quynh Thuan commune, Quynh Luu district, Nghe An province in October.
