Buddhist group from Ba Ria-Vung Tau pledges to take care of Vietnamese heroic mothers in Tien Giang

A charity group from Phat Quang Pagoda located in Ba Ria-Vung Tau province has pledged to take care of two Vietnamese heroic mothers in Tien Giang province, on occasion of the 70th Vietnamese Wounded Soldiers and Martyrs’ Day (July 27). 

The commitment was made during a visit to the two Vietnamese heroic mothers of Nguyễn Thị Tư in Tan Phu Dong district and Bùi Thị Ngọ in Go Cong town by a delegation of the Buddhist group led by Venerable Thích Toàn Thiện.

The charity group will provide VND 1 million every month to each heroic mother for covering their daily necessity. In addition, the Buddhist group also presented 50 million VND to Mother Bùi Thị Ngọ for repairing her house and handed over VND 50 million to Mr. Lê Thành Tâm, a martyr's son in Tan Thoi commune, Tien Giang province’s Tan Phu Dong district for building his new house.
