On September 21, Head of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) central Committee’s Southern Affairs Department Võ Văn Thiện presented the commemorative medal “For the cause of great national unity" to Most Venerable Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha’s Executive Council Thích Giác Toàn.
The VFF’s commemorative medal is the highest certificate of merit for its members’ outstanding achievements to the cause of national unity bloc.
Venerable Thích Giác Toàn, who is a member of the VFF central committee, took a chance to thank the VFF for the noble medal.
