From March 7 to 9, Venerable Abbot of Thuong Quang pagoda in Ho Chi Minh city Thích Chơn Tịnh led a group to present charitable gifts to about 60 patients at Psychiatric Hospital in Đắk Lắk province.
On this occasion, the group visited Buu Thang pagoda and presented charitable gifts to some psychiatric patients, 60 orphans, and about 50 elderly, with the total value of VND 20 million.
In addition, the Buddhist group also handed over one charity house worth VND 40 million and 100 gift boxes for the blinded people in the locality. The charity program was sponsored by Buddhists.
