The 4th academic year of the Buddhist College in Hanoi was solemnly opened at a ceremony held on September 29 at Dai Tu An pagoda located in the city’s Dan Phuong district.
The event saw the participation of Most Venerable Vice President of Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) Executive Council cum Chairman of the VBS’ Chapter in Hanoi city Thích Bảo Nghiêm, Most Venerable Member of the VBS’ Executive Council cum Principal of the Buddhist College Thích Thanh Nhã and large numbers of monks and nuns teaching at the school.
On the occasion, the Buddhist College in Hanoi presented graduation certificates to students of the third academic year.
Currently, the Buddhist College has 233 students with 80 monks and 153 nuns.
