The Vietnam Buddhist Sangha’s (VBS) Charity Board of Dong Nai province organized a charitable program on October 29 for supporting Cham disadvantaged people in Binh Thuan province’s Ham Can commune.
During the program, a delegation from Dong Nai provincial VBS’s Social Charity Board led by nun Chairwoman Thích Nữ Kim Sơn presented 300 support packets worth 120 million VND to local Cham people.
Ham Cam commune is a rural and mountainous countryside, and has been suffering a drought, caused many difficulties in cultivation and raising cattle.
