Buddhist chapter in Hoa Binh presents relief to flood victims

The Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS)’s Chapter in Hoa Binh province has launched a campaign to raise funds for assisting local flood victims caused by torrential rains in the province on October 9-11 and so far received over VND 300 million from local Buddhists and donors. 

During a charity program financed by the raised fund, the Buddhist Chapter handed over 770 gift sets worth nearly VND 300 million to households suffering serious loses by the flood in districts of Tan Lac and Da Bac and Hoa Binh city. The Buddhist chapter also planned to send relief support to flood victims in districts of Lac Thuy and Mai Chau in the coming days.
