Attending the event were Venerable Vice-Chairman of the provincial VBS Executive Committee Thích Chiếu Tuệ, Venerable Vice-Chairman of the provincial VBS Executive Committee cum Head of the provincial VBS Propagation Board Thích Hạnh Nhẫn, Venerable Head of Can Loc district VBS Executive Board Thích Quảng Nguyên, and over 300 locals, Buddhist dignitaries and believers in the province.

Chairman of the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Trịnh Xuân Diệu and officials from Can Loc district authorities also joint the event.

The one-day congress outlined tasks for next term as well as elected 15 members to the new-term Executive Board of the district VBS. The congress also nominated a delegation consisting of 30 monks, nuns and followers to attend the province-level VBS congress.
