The 2nd Blood Donation Day was held on June 4 at Keo pagoda in Thai Binh province’s Vu Thu district.
The event was co-organized by the Buddhist youth club in Keo pagoda, the Red Cross Association in Vu Thu district and Sen Hong youth volunteer club.
Attending the event included Vice Chairmen of Vu Thu district People’s Committee Phạm Công Diện and Lưu Huyền Đức, Head of the Red Cross Association in the district Ngô Xuân Thảo, Venerable Abbot of Keo pagoda Thích Thanh Quang, and representatives from the district Youth Union and the Hematology Department of Thai Binh Hospital.
The blood donation event attracted nearly 200 Buddhist followers, youth and volunteers as blood donators.
