Tay Son Caodai Parish under the Tay Ninh Caodai Church in Binh Dinh province solemnly held a ground-breaking ceremony on May 30 for the reconstruction of its oratory.
Attending the ceremony were Cardinal President o the Tay Ninh Caodai Church’s Executive Committee Thượng Tám Thanh and about 500 Caodai followers in localities.
Local authorities’ representatives at the event included Vice Chairman of the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Dương Đình Lang.
Tay Son Parish was established in 1957 and built its worshipping facility in 1972. As the original oratory was degraded and could not meet present religious needs of followers in the locality after forty years of existence, the chapter was given permission to rebuild its oratory according to a designed model of the Caodai Church.
