As reported at the event, Protestantism was brought into K’Ho ethnic community in 1929. The translation work of some parts of the bible in the native language was started as early as in 1934, and the translation of both the Old Testament and New Testament by K’Ho Protestants, foreign clergies and later the Bible Alliance Association was basically completed in 2009. For the last ten years the translation group has collaborated with local pastors to double-check the translating work for improving and completing the translation.

The Protestant church is planning to make 10,000 printing copies of the completed K’Ho language Bible for meeting demands of the ECVN and other Protestant denominations in Vietnam.
