The Management Board of Tan Phu I Caodai parish under the Correction-Path Caodai Church in Chau Thanh district of Ben Tre province solemnly inaugurated its new oratory at a ceremony held on March 20.
Attending the ceremony included Archbishop Vice Chairman of the Church’s Executive Committee Thái Thuận Thanh, representatives from other Correction-Path Caodai Church, dignitaries, deacons and followers of Tan Phu I Caodai parish and sponsors inside and outside the locality.
Representatives from the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and Chau Thanh district People’s Committee also joint the event.
The construction of Tan Phu I oratory was started in 2015 on an area of over 3,000 m2 and its main worshipping temple has been completed after one year of construction.
Speaking at the ceremony, local authorities urged Caodai dignitaries and followers to promote the solidarity and actively participate in local movements, contributing to the socio-economic development in the locality.
On behalf of the church, Archbishop Thái Thuận Thanh expressed thanks to local authorities for support and attention extended to the Church over the past years and encouraged dignitaries and followers to well follow the religious Charter and state laws, contributing to implement the motto “The country’s glory, the religion’s enlightenment”
