On August 17, the Correction-Path Caodai Church held the Humanity conference for the 91st religious year at Ben Tre Holy See in Ben Tre province.
The event saw the participation of dignitaries of the Church and 285 delegates from the Church’s all 185 parishes in provinces and cities in the country.
Distinguished guests at the conference included Director of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs’ Department of Caodai Affairs Nguyễn Đắc Tuấn, and representatives of Ben Tre provincial Committee for Religious Affairs and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee.
The conference reviewed social and religious affairs in the past year. As reported at the event, the Church contributed over VND 11 billion in the previous religious year to charities activities, including medical care, assistance for the poor and victims of natural disasters.
