The Representative Committee of the Ante-Creation Caodai Church in Ben Tre province reviewed its performance in the first six months of 2015 at a meeting held in the Committee’ office in Tien Thuy commune, Chau Thanh district on May 27.
The conference was chaired by Chairman of the provincial Representative Committee Principal Archbishop Huỳnh Văn Bảy (Thượng Bảy Thanh) and Vice Chairman of the Church’s Standing Committee Principal Archbishop Hượng Nhan, and attended by 50 dignitaries and deacons from 24 parishes in the province.
Local guests at the event included representatives from the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee.
According to a meeting report, the medical charity in the first six months has been actively conducted by Caodai dignitaries and followers in the province with a total value worth over VND59 million.
Speaking at the conference, representative of provincial VFF Committee Võ Văn Hai acknowledged achievements obtained by the provincial representative committee and the management board of local parishes in the first six months and also urged the Caodai Church to strengthen unity and coordination for making practical contributions to the Church’s plan in the last six months of 2015.
