The Representative Committee of the Ante-Creation Caodai Church in Ben Tre province reviewed its performance in 2015 at a meeting held in Tien Thuy commune, Chau Thanh district on January 19.
Attending the meeting were Principal Archbishop Vice Chairman of the Church’s Standing Committee Thượng Phong Thanh, representatives of the Church’s institutions, Bishop Head of the Church’s provincial Representative Committee Thượng Thế Thanh, members of the management boards, dignitaries and deacons in the locality.
Local guests at the event included representatives from the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee.
As reported at the conference, in 2015, 25 out of 29 management boards of Caodai oratories in the locality held general meetings for electing management personnel for 2015 -2020 period. Local dignitaries and followers contributed over 500 VND million in social and charitable activities.
