The 3rd General Conference of Bani Islamic community in Ninh Thuan province was held on December 12-13 in Ninh Phuoc district.
105 delegates representing Bani Islamic temples in the province attended the congress.
Representatives from the Government Committee for Religious Affairs, Ninh Thuan provincial Committee for Religious Affairs and People’s Committee also joint the opening ceremony of the event.
During the 2-day conference, participating delegates discussed the report reviewing activities of the Council of Religious Chiefs of Bani Islamic community in Ninh Thuan province in the 2012 – 2016 term and approved tasks for the 2016-2021 tenure, as well as selected 36 members to the new-term Bani Islamic excutive council.
On this occasion, to praise the Religious Chiefs Council of the Bani Islamic community for its role and achievements in the 2nd term, the provincial People’s Committee presented certificates of merit to one collective and one individual from the community in the province. The Bani Islamic Dignitaries Council also presented certificates of merit to collectives and individuals for their outstanding contributions to the Islamic community.
