About 7,000 Catholics from 131 flower groups across Bac Ninh diocese gathered on the diocese cathedral to offer flowers to the Lady of the Rosary at a grand ceremony held on October 3
The diocese’s Bishop Cosma Hoàng Văn Đạt presided over the ceremony. As part of its fine tradition, the diocese often organizes flower offering and religious tenets competitions on the occasion of the Feast of Lady of the Rosary.
The flower offering competition this year was divided into three phases. After completing flower-offering contest, each group answered two questions from the jury competition. The flower groups were ranked according to the total score, obtained from flower offering and religious tenets competitions.
As for the final result of the contest, 30 flower groups were awarded the top prize, 40 groups received the second prize, 45 groups were awarded the third prize, the rest received the incentive prize.
