Bac Lieu provincial Party Committee organized a conference for reviewing ten-year implementation of Party’s Resolution 25 on Religious Affairs on Dec. 18.
Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Trương Minh Chiến chaired the conference.
The conference assessed that during ten years implementing the Resolution 25, religious activities have been conducted in accordance with the laws; life of religious people has been improved. The relationship between religious organizations and local authorities has been promoted, contributing to build social cohesion and development in the locality. In addition, religious people in the province have more actively participated in poverty reduction programs and movements.
During the reviewing conference, Bac Lieu province presented a certificate of merit to eight organizations and 17 individuals for recognition of their outstanding achievements in implementing the Party resolution on religious affairs./.
