Ba Ria province: Binh Gia deanery’s Caritas presents gifts to poor pupils

On June 20, Binh Gia deanery’s Caritas under the Ba Ria Diocese conducted a charitable program to poor school children in the locality.

The program was overseen by Priest in charge of Charitable and Social Actions Board of the Binh Gia deanery Joseph Đặng Đình An, and presented 450 gift sets to poor students from primary level to high school in four parishes of Suoi Rao, Thien Phuoc, Mai Khoi and Dong Tien, and three Catholic communities of Xuan Truong, Tan Binh and Vo Nhiem. Each gift set included notebooks and pens, sponsored by a Vietnamese oversea.

It’s reported that Priest Joseph Đặng Đình An often holds annual fund rising for education promotion and presents gifts to poor students from localities.
