On October 5th, at the Hanoi Opera House, the Vietnam Science History Association, the Vietnam Buddhist Institute, the Capital Security newspaper presented 60 Saint Giong statues to the provinces, cities, individuals and organizations. This is part of activities to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Capital Liberation Day.
60 golden statues of Saint Giong- Phu Dong Thien Vuong carried messages of the national determination and pride. Golden Saint Giong Statues were sculptured by Sculptor Nguyễn Kim Xuân by a traditional manual method, made of gold-plated pure copper, with 80cm high, weight 60kg, based on the prototype statue of Saint Giong in Soc Son district, Hanoi./.
