Association for preserving and promoting heritage of Three-palace Mother Goddess Worship established in Nam Dinh

A meeting was held on November 27 in Nam Dinh province on the establishment of the association for preserving and promoting heritage of Three-palace Mother Goddess Worship in the province.
The event saw the participation of representatives from Department for Cultural Heritage under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, local authorities and 250 mediums and worshipping practitioners of Mother Goddess Worship from provinces of Nam Dinh, Dong Nai, Hai Phong and Ho Chi Minh city.
The meeting approved the draft Charter of the association and working plans for the 2020-2023 tenure and elected the association’s 14-member Executive Board. Currently, 250 people mediums and worshipping practitioners of the Mother Goddess Worship have applied for joining the association.
The association for preserving and promoting heritage of Three-palace Mother Goddess Worship aimed at gathering mediums and worshipping practitioners of the Mother Goddess Worship, protecting and developing the heritage of the worship, contributing to help mediums to protect and preserve the cultural heritage of the country.
In 2017, The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in collaboration with Nam Dinh authorities received the UNESCO’s certificate for Mother Goddess worship as an intangible cultural heritage of humanity at a ceremony held in Phu Day relic complex based in Kim Thai commune, Vu Ban district.
