During the ceremony, Archbishop Leopoldo Girelli encouraged Catholics to promote the spirit of charity in the faith life as well as in the communion of the Catholic Church from Rome to Vietnam in order to develop the parish.

On behalf of Hop An parish, Priest John Baptist Nguyễn Ngọc Tân took the chance to thank the Archbishop and conveyed his sincere thanks to Pope Francis for its support extended to the Vietnam Catholic Church in general and Hop An parish in particularly over the past years.
