The Ninh Binh provincial Culture and Sports Department in collaboration with the provincial Exhibition and the Trang An Antiquities Association held on October 24 an antiquities exhibition in locality.
The opening ceremony taking place in the provincial museum saw the presence of representatives of the provincial authorities, the Vietnam cultural heritage association in locality, the provincial historical science association, researchers and antique collectors.
Antiquities are displayed at the exhibition
The exhibition featured antique collections made of stone, bronze, terracotta, porcelain and bones from Dong Son age and dynasties of Dinh Early Le, Ly-Tran, Le and Nguyen. Antiquities are eloquent proof of the economic, cultural and social development in each historical period. The event aims to promote the preservation of historical values of antiquities.
The exhibition is part of cultural activities to celebrate the Culture, Sports and Tourism Festival 2018 in Ninh Binh and the 1050th anniversary of Dai Co Viet State (968-2018).
