The meeting was chaired by Bishop Head of the Church’s Representative Committee Thượng Thêu Thanh, and attended by Principal Archbishop Standing Deputy Head of the Ante-Creation Caodai Church’s Executive Committee Ngọc Phường Thanh and over 70 dignitaries and deacons from the management board of 22 parishes of the Caodai Church in the locality.

Local guests at this event included Vice Chairman of the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Trần Văn Khuê and local authorities’ representatives.

According to the meeting report, in the first months of 2017, the Missionary Caodai Church’s Representative Committee recorded many good results in religious and social affairs. So far, there has seen 29 new converts to the Church with 15 other baptized, and the Church’s followers in the province have also contributed more than VND 1.4 billion to social-charitable activities, including the construction of 5 concrete bridges and provision of health checks and free distribution of medicines to people in the locality.
