The Ante-Creation Caodai Church held on September 4 the 2nd Popular Conference for the 2015-2020 tenure at Chau Minh Holy See located in Ben Tre province.
Attending the conference included dignitaries from the Church’s High Council and Executive Committee, the Church’s Representative Committee in Ben Tre province, and about 400 delegates representing followers of the Church in 16 provinces and cities.
Distinguished guests at the event included Director of Caodai Affairs Department under the Government Committee for Religious Affairs Nguyễn Đắc Tuấn and representatives of the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee.
The event reviewed performances of the Church in 2017 and approved working plans for the next year.
As reported during the conference, the Ante-Creation Caodai Church has recorded many good results in religious affairs for the past year, including the organization of 120 doctrinal classes for about 570 participants, celebration of the Church’s 90th founding anniversary, and inauguration of Chau Minh Holy See, construction of three new oratories and upgrading of five oratories, and 22 traditional medicine clinics. The Church also contributed over VND 9 billion to medical charities and support for poor patients in hospitals over the past year.
