The Catholic solidarity board in Ky Anh district of the central Ha Tinh province on December 20 reviewed contributions to national construction and defense made by the Catholic community in the district in 2020, and mapped out key tasks for 2021.
Present at the reviewing meeting included representatives of the district authorities, members of the Catholic solidarity board and heads of the Vietnam Fatherland Front board in the district’s communes and wards.
As reported, Ky Anh district is currently home to over 1,400 Catholic people, mainly residing in the four communes of Ky Chau, Ky Khang, Ky Lac and Ky Son.
In 2020, Catholics in the district proactively joint movements launched by local authorities for boosting rural and urban development, as well as practically contributed to social security and public order in localities by establishing models of residential areas with no crimes and social evils, etc.
On the occasion, the district authority of Ky Anh extended Christmas greetings to the Catholic solidarity board and Catholic followers in the district.
