An Giang province: Southwest Steering Committee congratulates Cham people on Roya Haji festival

On Sept. 22, a delegation of the Steering Committee for the Southwest visited Cham community in Tan Chau district’s Chau Phong commune on occasion of Roya Haji festival 2015.
Joining the delegation included by Deputy Director of the Ethnic – Religion Department under the Steering Committee for the Southwest Nguyễn Vũ Đức and Tan Chau district authorities’ representatives.
At visiting places, the delegation extended greetings and presented congratulatory gifts to local people of Cham ethnic on occasion of Roya Haji festival 2015. The delegation also acknowledged contributions of the Cham ethnic community to national unity and socio-economic development in the locality.
