A solemn ceremony for ordainment of 24 new deacons from Hue Archdiocese was held on December 30 in Phu Cam Cathedral.
The ordainment ceremony was presided by Archbishop President of the Catholic Bishops' Conference of Vietnam Joseph Nguyễn Chí Linh, former Archbishop of the Archdiocese Francis Xavier Nguyễn Văn Hồng, and joint by large numbers of priests, relatives of new deacons and Catholic followers from Thanh Hoa and other dioceses.
Also in Phu Cam Cathedral, an art performance program was held on December 31 to celebrate the Christmas and 25th anniversary of priesthood ordination of Archbishop Joseph Nguyễn Chí Linh.
