At the commemorating ceremony, Chairman of Binh Dinh provincial People's Committee Le Huu Loc delivered a speech reviewing the glorious history of the Tay Son Dynasty and biography of King Quang Trung - a national hero and military genius, who recorded resounding victories and great achievements in the cause of national construction and defense.

Delegates offered flowers at the statue of King Quang Trung and offered incense at a shrine dedicated to three Tay Son heroes inside Quang Trung Museum.

The ceremony aimed to commemorate the great contributions of the national hero to the struggles for national defense and to educate younger generations about national pride, patriotism and their duty for defending and building the Homeland.

On this occasion, the People’s Committee of Binh Dinh province has filed documents for submitting to the Prime Minister to classify the shrine dedicated to three Tay Son heroes inside Quang Trung Museum as a special national relic and expand this relic and Quang Trung Museum comparable to a great cause of Tay Son brothers and Emperor Quang Trung in particular.
