According to Dong Nai provincial Committee for Religious Affairs, from August 16 to end August, about 2,000 religious dignitaries and deacons of Buddhism, Catholicism, Protestantism, Caodaism, Hoa Hao Buddhism, the Vietnam Pure-land Buddhist Church, Tu An Hieu Nghia (Four Debts of Gratitude) Faith and Islam in the province’s districts and provincial cities shall receive Covid-19 vaccination.
This is a priority group in the Covid-19 vaccination plan according to Decision No. 3355/QD-BYT dated July 9, 2021 of the Ministry of Health and guidelines of Dong Nai provincial People’s Committee.
At present, the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs is coordinating with the Department of Health and municipal authorities of Long Khanh and Bien Hoa to implement the Covid-19 vaccination for religious dignitaries and deacons in the province.
