Recently, in Nghe An province’s Cua Lo provincial city, 59 cases of Covid-19 infection were detected in the community and concentrated quarantine areas in the locality.
In order to support local authorities in the Covid-19 prevention work, Bishop of Vinh diocese Alphonse Nguyễn Hữu Long has sent 20 sisters of Lovers of the Holy Cross Congregation in the province to support the epidemic prevention work in Cua Lo’s Nghi Tan ward.
From August 29, the voluntary sisters joint the medical staff from Nghe An Lung Hospital and Cua Lo Medical Center in taking samples from locals for Covid-19 quick testing.
