The Caodai churches and organizations successfully convened its 13rd annual exchange conference on October 29 in the southern province of Ben Tre.
The event taking place at the Holy See of Minh Chau Caodai Church located in Tien Thuy commune of Chau Thanh district drew the participation of about 300 Caodai dignitaries representing 10 Caodai churches and 14 Caodai organizations in the country.
Guests at the event included Vice Chairwoman of the GCRA Trần Thị Minh Nga, Vice Chairman of the Central Commission for Mass Mobilization Đỗ Văn Thới, Chairman of the Ethnic – Religious Affairs Committee under the central Vietnam Fatherland Front Nguyễn Văn Thanh, and representatives from concerning provincial authorities of Ben Tre and four other localities where headquarters of Caodai churches and organizations are located.

The one-day conference reviewed religious and social affairs of the Caodai alliance in the last year. As reported, the joint group of 10 Caodai church, one Caodai practicing sect and 14 Caodai organizations currently has over 990,000 members with 633 worshiping oratories, and jointly publishes the Caodai Magazine. Over the past year the Caodai group spent over 75 billion VND on building and renovating over 300 worshipping oratories, and contributed more than 71 billion VND to social and charitable projects, including relief packets sent to flood victims in Vietnam Central and supports extended to the Covid-19 prevention and control works in localities.
Addressing the event, Vice Chairwoman Trần Thị Minh Nga highly appreciated practical contributions made by the group of Caodai churches and organizations for sustainable developments in localities, and asked dignitaries of Caodai churches and organizations to continue upholding cultural and moral values for shining the Caodai faith and developing the country of Vietnam.
