Caodaism is a religion. It was founded in early 20th century. The name “Cao dai” means the highest place or spiritual highest place where God dwells; “venerable Caodai” is the abbreviated name of God in Cao Dai religion, his full title is Cao Dai Tien Ong Dai Ma Ha Tat (The Supreme Immortal Bodhisattva Mahasattva). Some Caodai believers consider their religion as God ‘sTao because they want to show their respect to their religion.
Cao dai believers think God is the creator of all religions and the universe. All teaching, symbols and system of Caodai are directly specified by Venerable Cao dai. It is symbol of God in Caodaism. The worship places are Holy See in Centre of Caodaism and temples in localities.
