The fourth ‘Zero-VND market’ has been launched on February 3 in the culture, sports centre of Vung Tau city for supporting the poor and disadvantaged people in Ba Ria – Vung Tau province ahead of the Lunar New Year (Tet) 2021.
The Tet market with the title “Loving of homeland” was organized by the social charity board under the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) Executive Committee in Ba Ria Vung Tau.
The event saw the presence of Venerable Quách Thành Sattha, Vice Chairman of the provincial VBS’s Executive Committee, Nun Thích nữ Tiến Lên, Head of the provincial VBS’s board for social charity, representatives from local authorities, a large number of monks, nuns and Buddhists in the province.
During the event, the social charity board presented over 1,000 Tet gift sets to poor people in the province.
