The Yuor Yang ceremony of Cham people in Ninh Thuan province this year took place from July 7-9 in three Cham’s temples of Po Inu Nugar, Po Klaung Garai and Po Rame.
The ceremony featured four traditional rituals for purification, burning fire god, worshipping god at Cham tower and dam building.
The burning fire god ritual is one of most important rites of Cham community in the worship of gods of fire, sun, agriculture and water for praying rain and good harvest.
The Yuor Yang is one of main ceremonies of Cham ethnic people taking place in Cham towers.
