Vinh Quang pagoda in Bac Ninh inaugurates its Sanctum and starts construction of Quan Am lake

Vinh Quang pagoda located in Thuan Thanh district’s Tram Lo commune, Bac Ninh province held on December 22 a ceremony for inaugurating its main worshipping hall and starting the construction of Quan Am lake.
Attending the event included Most Venerable Deputy Patriarch of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS)’s Discernment Council Thích Thanh Dũng, Senior Venerable Vice President of the VBS’s Executive Council Thích Đức Thiện, and Buddhist dignitaries from pagodas and monasteries in the province.
Guests at the event included Deputy Minister of the Home Affairs Nguyễn Trọng Thừa, Deputy Chief of the National Assembly Delegation in Bac Ninh Trần Thị Hằng.
In 2017, the provincial authorities approved for the pagoda to reconstruct its main worshipping hall and it has been completed after two years of construction.
