A program to honor Mother Goddess worshipping practice - an intangible cultural heritage of humanity recognized by UNESCO took place in Hanoi on June 28.
The event taking place in Tay Ho temple was organized by Vietnam Elite Magazine.
The program aimed to honor fine values imbued with cultural identities of Vietnamese people and widely introduce the Vietnam’s Mother Goddess worship in the community and the world.
The program included a photo exhibition titled “the beauty of the Mother Goddess worship” with many photos of mediums in sessions of going-into-trance rituals, performances of several typical sessions of Hau Dong ritual and display of costumes used by mediums during spiritual entrance sessions.
