Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee in Hanoi holds meeting to gather comments on draft decrees for implementation of religious law

The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee in Hanoi held on September 19 a meeting to gather comments on two draft decrees for implementation of the Law on Belief and Religion.
Attending the meeting were large numbers of religious dignitaries and scholars in the city.
Gathering comments to the draft decree detailing and providing measures for the implementation of Law on Belief and Religion and the draft degree on sanctions for administrative violation of the religious law, the event recorded 10 comments from the religious and scholars on a number of issues, including the right to use religious scriptures and express religious beliefs, reception and use of foreign-related donations by religious organizations, types and levels of administrative sanctions, etc.
