On November 7, the Catholic Education Committee held a seminar on education with the theme “Teachers of life values for ensuring student’s success – lessons from practical studies” at the head office of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of Vietnam.
Attending the event included about 200 teachers at all levels, from elementary school to university.
At the seminar, participants listened and discussed on topics, including roles of education of life values in ensuring success of learning and in future life for students, roles and changes needed for teachers, specific experiences from the “Ephata education program” which was presented by Dr. Vũ Quang Tuyên, lecturer of the Ho Chi Minh city University of Science.
After each presentation, the Organization Board arranged a time for the presenter and participants to discuss and reflect on personal experiences in life and education affairs. The proactive and two-way exchange contributed to make the seminar lively and practically beneficial.
