Vietnam Buddhist Sangha leaders extend Christmas greetings to Christians in Hanoi

A delegation from the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) paid a Christmas visit to Hanoi Archdiocese Cathedral on Dec. 22.

The VBS delegation included Most Venerable Thích Bảo Nghiêm, Vice-Chairman of the VBS Executive Council cum Head of Hanoi VBS Executive Committee, Most Venerable Thích Thanh Nhã, Vice-Chairman of the VBS Executive Council, Deputy Head of the Hanoi VBS’ Executive Committee, Venerable Thích Thọ Lạc, member of the VBS Executive Council, Deputy Head of the central VBS Cultural Committee.

At the visiting reception Most Venerable Thích Bảo Nghiêm extended best wishes and happy Christmas to Archbishop Peter Nguyễn Văn Nhơn, Catholic dignitaries and followers in the archdiocese.

Archbishop Peter Nguyễn Văn Nhơn met with the VBS delegation and expressed his thanks to the VBS for their Christmas greetings.

On the same day, the VBS delegation led by Most Venerable Thích Bảo Nghiêm visited the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (Northern) and made his best Christmas wishes to Protestant dignitaries and followers in the Church.

Pastor President of the Church Nguyễn Hữu Mạc received the VBS delegation and thanked the VBS leaders for their Christmas visit.
