VFF in Thai Binh reviews five years implementing emulation movement in Catholic parishes

The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) in Thai Binh held on December 13 a meeting to review five years implementing the movement Catholic parishes with four exemplars in the Catholic community launched in the 2017-2022 period in the province.

At the meeting

The event saw the presence of Chairman of the provincial People’s Council Nguyễn Tiến Thành, Chairman of the provincial Party Commission for Mass Mobilization Nguyễn Văn Giang, Chairman of the provincial VFF Vũ Thanh Vân, representatives from local authorities, and Catholic dignitaries in the province.

On the occasion, 17 groups and 15 individuals of the Catholic community in the province have received certificates of commendation from the provincial People’s Committee and the provincial VFF for their outstanding contributions in the movement.

The provincial VFF presented certificates of merit to 145 outstanding Catholic parishes and sub-parishes for their contributions to social unity and community cohesion in the 2017-2022 period.
