The Verity Caodai Church held on December 24 a meeting in Tien Giang province’s My Tho city to celebrate the Church’s founding anniversary and review social, religious activities 2017.
Attending the event included Cardinal Chairman of the Church’s Executive Council Thái Long Nhựt, members of the Executive Council’s Standing Board, representatives from management boards of 30 parishes and about 300 dignitaries, deacons and followers of the church.
Vice Chairman of the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Trần Văn Khuê was amongst local guests at the meeting.
The one-day meeting recalled the church’s history in the last 92 years, as well as reviewed social and religious activities of the church in 2017 and mapped out working plans for the coming year.
As reported, dignitaries and followers of the Verity Cao Dai Church has contributed over VND 500 million to social charities for the year 2017.
