On March 13, the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) Sub-Committee for Nun Affairs held a conference to discuss Buddhist affairs at Dieu Duc nunnery in Hue city.
Buddhist dignitaries attending the meeting were Superior Nun Thích Nữ Diệu Tấn, members of the sub-committee, nuns and Buddhists from the Nun Affairs Board in 35 provinces and cities.

During the meeting, nuns from the Nun Affairs Board discussed practical issues, including provision of the seal to the provincial boards, measures taken for nuns who completed Buddhist trainings in other regions and did not return to the origin places. The meeting provided useful and specific guidance for solving many problems facing the some provincial boards.
The central sub-committee also asked the provincial-level boards to uphold Buddhist precepts and pledged to work closely with its local boards in addressing Buddhist affairs.
