The event saw the presence of Most Venerable Thích Thanh Nhiễu, Standing Vice President of the VBS’s Executive Council, Senior Venerable Thích Đức Thiện, Vice President cum General Secretary of the VBS’s Executive Council and Editor-in-chief of An Vien Television Channel, Vice Chairwoman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs Trần Thị Minh Nga, and representatives of media and digital enterprises of Vietnam Television (VTV), Viettel Television, Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT), FPT Telecom, etc., and officials from concerned sectors and agencies. 

Speaking at the event, Most Venerable Thích Thanh Nhiễu stressed the promotion of the communication work in the forth industrial revolution, including the development of An Vien Television Channel, as a channel to convey the teachings of Buddhism and spread examples promoting good life and good religion.

During the ceremony, representatives of the VBS and media and digital enterprises signed cooperation contracts to develop An Vien Television Channel.

Accordingly, the channel with new name An Vien TV - B Channel will be invested with more contents and widely broadcast based on the technology platform from August 8.
