The Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS)’s 3rd national training on Buddhist information and communication took place on November 1-2 at Thien Chau pagoda in Long An province.
The training drew the participation of 350 Buddhist monks, nuns and followers from the VBS’s board on information and communication and Buddhist media throughout the country.
The training’s opening ceremony saw the presence of Most Venerable Thích Thiện Nhơn, President of the VBS’s Executive Council, Most Venerable Thích Gia Quang, Vice President of the VBS’s Executive Council cum Head of the Committee on Information and Communication and Chairman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs Vũ Chiến Thắng.

The two-day event covered topics on skills on Buddhist information and communication, the observance of the State law in Buddhist information and communication, the VBS’s regulation and rules for public information and media, etc.
