The UNESCO Center for Buddhism Studies and Application of Vietnam held a ceremony on July 15 to announce its decision to open a representative office in the Central coastal-Central Highlands region.
Established in 1999, the Center is a member unit of the Vietnam Federation of UNESCO Associations (VFUA).
It focuses on researching Buddhism teaching and principles in a scientific manner, then applying this knowledge to the cultural and spiritual lives of people, thereby contributing to promoting ethical values, charity activities, and improving community health services.
The Center's representative office aims to meet the practical needs of the community and contribute to further promoting humanistic values and creating benefits for the community.
