The Representative Committee of Tu An Hieu Nghia (Four Debts of Gratitude) Faith held on February 1 a meeting in An Giang province’s Tri Ton district to review annual activities in 2017 and pointed out working plans for 2018.
The event saw the participation of Vice Chairman of the Representative Committee Nguyễn Ngọc Trác, members of the Representative Committee and 110 deacons and followers of the religious sect in the locality.
Local guests at the meeting included Chairman of the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Lê Nguyên Châu.
Addressing at the event, Chairman Lê Nguyên Châu acknowledged practical contributions made by Tu An Hieu Nghia faith over the past year. He also called on the Representative Committee of the religious sect to closely work with the local authorities for well implementation of the new law on religion and belief.
On this occasion, the religious representative committee presented ordination decisions to three promoted heads of branches of the religious sect.
