The Management Board of Than Cuu Nghia Caodai parish solemnly inaugurated its new oratory at a ceremony held on August 22 in Chau Thanh district, Tien Giang province.
Attending the ceremony included Cardinal Thượng Tám Thanh, President of the Tay Ninh Caodai Church’s Executive Council, Caodai dignitaries from the management board of 29 parishes and a large number of followers inside and outside the locality.
Vice Chairman Trần Văn Khuê and Vice Chairwoman Bùi Thị Mai of the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs also joint Caodai dignitaries and followers at the ceremony.
It’s reported that, Than Cuu Nghia oratory was first built its oratory in 1971 and it has been restored and upgraded many times. The construction of the new oratory was started in 2013 with the Church’s 6th model of design and an estimated cost of over three billion VND.
