The representative committee of the Tay Ninh Caodai Church in Tien Giang province held a conference at its office in My Tho city on Dec. 1 to review its performance 2015.
The conference was presided by Priest Chairman of the Committee Thượng Ẩn Thanh (Châu Ngọc Ẩn), and attended by 50 delegates representing 29 Caodai communities in the province.
As reported at the event, during the year, under the committee’s guidance, there have been about 700 people converted to the religion, nearly 2,400 children baptized, six dignitaries appointed, two oratories rebuilt, one oratory inaugurated, and social and charitable activities conducted at an estimated contribution of over VND 450 million.
According to Priest Thượng Ẩn Thanh, these typical results were attributed to unity and efforts by all Caodai dignitaries and followers in the locality, as well as support from the Tay Ninh Caodai Church and local authorities.
