The Summer retreat course 2016 (B.E. 2560) for Buddhist nuns in Tien Giang province organized at Pho Duc Pagoda was formally completed at the closing ceremony held on August 11.
Attending the ceremony included Most Venerable Thích Huệ Minh, Member of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha’s Central Executive Council cum Chairman of the Executive Committee of the VBS’s chapter in Tien Giang province; Superior Nun Như Bình, Head of the Nun Affairs Board of the VBS’s chapter in Tien Giang province; representatives of the VBS’s executive board in the province’s districts; 162 Buddhist nuns attending the Buddhist College in the province and a large number of Buddhist followers in the locality.
As reported by the course organizing board, 100% of Buddhist nuns attended the three-month retreat have received the course’s certificate.
